Huna And Good
Living
Huna may be a strange word to a lot of
us, but certainly the practice is said to predate time (as we know it).
Huna is closely tied to the Polynesian race of ancient Hawaii, but in
our studies and researches, we've found evidence that it was (is) not
confined to the Hawaiian kingdom. In fact, most of the magical and mystical
practices of some parts of Africa have a lot in common with huna practices.
Of course, the word, huna, is Hawaiian.
Max Freedom Long, who did extensive research
on the huna wisdom and philosophy, said that these ancient mystical
practices could bring about a lot of results which western science could
not explain.
Mr. Long was not a kahuna himself, but it was his writings that brought
the attention of the western world to this form of practice, or way
of life. Max made mention of the kahunas being able to produce instant
and miraculous cures to diseases and illnesses; being able to control
the weather; foretelling the future with uncanny accuracy and sometimes
changing it if deemed necessary. He also talked about the ability of
the kahunas to walk barefooted on molten lava without getting burnt.
What about their ability to raise the dead?
What is huna?
What are its principles?
Who is a kahuna, and how can one become one?
How can we apply huna principles to achieve perfect health and prosperity?
These, and many other questions, are what
we'll be looking at in this section. Please stay
